Beaming With Beauty

Adding faux wood beams from Decorative Ceiling Tiles is a breeze!

-

I installed the 4x6 faux wood beams from Decorative Ceiling Tiles in the “Douglas Fir” texture in the “Primed” color. I chose the primed color because I really like the neutral base, and it was simple to add a subtle stain for more depth. (The beams are also available in your choice of eight prestained options and six wood-look textures.)

The faux beams are super-lightweight, made of high-density foam and are hollow on the inside. They arrive with simple-to-follow installation instructions, and you can cut the beams to fit your space if necessary.

Instructional videos are also available on the Decorative Tile website, so don’t be intimidated, because the process is surprisingly easy!

I love the warmth and richness they add to my kitchen and how they give the space a much more custom look—at a fraction of the cost of heavy wood beams. It really is as Decorative Tile says, “from plain to beautiful in hours.”
