Fall Brings Out the Nature Lover in Me
When the days shorten and the weather begins to get cool, a subtle change happens for me. I begin to appreciate all the beautiful colors and abundant lushness that nature has to offer. (To be fair, I notice this in the springtime too, but then it’s more about the fresh feeling of new growth.) The autumn-dyed leaves just seem to glow in their deep colors, almost bursting out into the world. Craggy hillsides and musty wooded paths all look like they’ve been brushed with the richest of oil paints. The snap of a twig sounds through the air as clear as a bell. And the breezes—oh, those cool autumn breezes—those definitely are manna to my soul. I’m not sure if you’re as in love with fall as I am, but judging by the fact that you picked up this issue, I think there’s at least a bit of a love affair there.
