Country Sampler Autumn Decorating SIP 2018 - - Inside - DESIGNED AND PHOTOGRAPHED BY LINDA BRADEN OF MASONJARCRAFTSLOVE.COM.

Transform a lackluster mason jar into a composition-book look-alike for your teacher friend, college-bound student, or yourself! First, use white primer to paint a large patch on the front of the jar. Let dry before covering a 2" x 1¼" portion of that patch with washi tape. Paint the rest of the jar using matte black acrylic paint and let dry. On the side of the jar, tape off a vertical strip to represent the notebook spine. With a fan brush, gently dapple white paint all over, creating a mottled effect. Carefully remove all the washi tape. Use a fine-tip brush to paint thin black lines on the front white rectangle.
