Country Sampler Autumn Decorating SIP 2018 - - Inside - DESIGNED AND PHOTOGRAPHED BY KIM PURVIS OF MADEINADAY.COM.

This Green Man wreath from Kim Purvis at Made In a Day will keep a watchful eye on your property all season long. Begin your forest face with a resin tree sculpture mask, available from online retailers. If your face doesn’t have painted eyes, fill them in with white, green and black paint. Dry brush gray acrylic paint over the raised areas of the mask for a more bark-like look. Cut two strips of chicken wire ribbon to fit across an appropriate-size oval grapevine wreath. Secure the chicken wire to the back of the wreath with floral wire. Position the wreath atop the chicken wire and attach with floral wire. Hot glue small pieces of moss on the face and around the wreath. Weave wood sticks through the chicken wire behind the mask. Add fern picks and long palm picks around the face, and then fill in other areas with additional picks and moss. Secure any loose items with hot glue, and hang the finished piece on your front door.
