SHAPE A FUNNY MUMMY

Country Sampler Autumn Decorating SIP 2018 - - Inside - DESIGNED AND PHOTOGRAPHED BY CAMILLA FABBRI OF CFABBRIDESIGNS.COM.

This mummy figure from Camilla Fabbri at Family Chic can be posed in so many ways! Make your own from rubber-coated garden wire wrapped with strips of muslin. Shape the flexible wire into a stickfigure form with a head and neck, torso, arms and legs. Tear a length of muslin fabric into ½" strips. Start at the head and wrap the strips around the entire wire form. Attach each new strip by tying one end together with the previous strip’s end. Finish wraps with knots, and trim excess fabric.

TIME SAVERWhen tearing muslin, it’s easiest to make a small cut in the fabric and then rip it the rest of the way.
