Country Sampler - BOHO Style - - WORTH THE TRIP STEAL THE LOOK -

1. Color Inspiration

“Creating Boho Style magazine inspired me to experiment with the look in my home,” Fifi says. “I fell for the endless possibilities the style allows.” Although vibrant colors are very boho, Fifi chose a dreamy toned-down version and a somewhat less eclectic design approach.

2. Collecting Art

“Luckily, I get to research artists and artisans for the various magazines I produce, so I come across some fabulous ones,” Fifi explains. “My preferences tend toward quirky animal paintings, pieces that speak of sentiments such as love, and handmade hearts. For her dining room, Fifi created a collage from images she loves from photo shoots she has been on.

3. Best Budget Trick

Paint is Fifi’s BFF! It’s inexpensive and a great (and easy) way to update or transform just about anything. Choose the right paint and you can even paint upholstery or a rug!

4. Must Have

“Soft lighting is a must, but there are times when you need to turn up the watts,” Fifi says. She outfitted all of her lamps and chandeliers with dimmer switches so she can control the level for each as needed. “Extension cords with dimmers are readily available at most hardware stores for about $10.”
