Transform a Tray

Follow the lead of Marty Walden of Marty's Musings to redesign a wood tray to fit your holiday farmhouse style. Clean your tray and allow it to dry. Dilute chalky-finish paint with an equal amount of water in a disposable cup. Paint the base and sides of the tray, applying additional coats if necessary, and let dry. Cut lightweight scrapbook paper to fit the tray interior. Apply decoupage medium to the tray, place the paper on top, and smooth out any wrinkles. Apply a second coat of decoupage medium on top.
