Brown Bag Makeover

A few cuts, folds and glue will transform a grocery bag into a gift bag in minutes. Just follow these instructions from Camilla Fabbri at Family Chic. Cut out the front and back panels, discarding the sides and base. Place one panel on top of the other, with printed sides facing up and handles at each end. Fold in each long side 1". Fold the stacked panels in half, bringing the handles together. Using a hot glue gun, adhere the bag together at the folded sides you've created. Add a design to your bag with stencils, stamps or a freehand drawing and embellish with ribbon and tissue paper.
