Stamp a Book Stack

Create a farmhouse-style book stack with this tutorial from Marty Walden of Marty's Musings. Find a few inexpensive paperback books of similar size. Tear off each book's cover. For the top of each book, find a blank page and coat with chalky-finish paint.

Also paint the spine of each book. When dry, distress the spines. If your book pages are curling, secure them together using a glue stick. Stamp a word onto the spine of each book with rubber alphabet stamps and a black stamp pad. Use a baby wipe to remove excess ink from the stamps before pressing onto the spine. Stack the finished books and tie with ribbon.
