Flocked Fantasy

Whether you live in an area that sees seasonal snowfall or one that remains green during the holidays, you can create a chill atmosphere indoors with a tree that looks like it was dusted with frosty flakes. Katie Busenitz of The Rustic Boxwood chose a tall pre-lit flocked tree to suit the high ceiling in her great room. She focused on mixing textures, including birch-bark and galvanized-metal ornaments, wood cutouts and shatter-free ball ornaments, plus some checked ribbon bows.
