Country Sampler Special Edition
FAUX TIN COVER-UP
Want to hide tile that doesn't suit your style rather than spend time tearing it out? Lauren Shaver of Bless'er House decided to go over the mosaic tile in her kitchen with decorative PVC panels that look like pressed-tin tiles. To do this, first coat your existing tiles with white primer if the color might show through. Then measure your backsplash and cut the 2' x 4' PVC sheets with a utility knife. Adhere the panels to the tile with construction adhesive, following the manufacturer's instructions. Finish by sealing with white caulk.
