SHELVES GALORE

Turn the walls of a hallway, entry or mudroom into an easily accessible pantry. For maximum walkthrough space, select the narrowest shelves that will accommodate your ingredients, tableware and supplies. Mount the shelves at various heights to fit different items, but keep them as close together as possible for the best use of the space. You could even install shelves all the way to the ceiling if you like! Once complete, paint the walls and shelves the same clean white for a unified look. Stock the area with dry ingredients, spices, drinking glasses, mixing bowls and more. For a vintage touch and quick access to the highest shelves, keep a rustic ladder nearby that's easy on the eyes.
