DRESSED-UP TRAY STAND

Kathy Owen at Petticoat Junktion decided to top this folding tray table stand with an antique frame to turn it into a lightweight table. To create a similar table, leave the legs of your stand natural and coat with a clear wax. Find a frame that fits your stand and give it a couple coats of off-white paint. Use a brad nailer to attach the frame to the stand at each corner. Turn the table upside down and cut the stand’s straps. Securely nail the top and base together. Finish by touching up the paint where the nails went in.
