FARMHOUSE REFRESH

Here’s another idea for redoing a folding TV table! This one comes from Shannon Acheson of Home Made Lovely, who painted her table and added a number-themed flourish to the top. Start your project by sanding the surfaces of your table. Spray the base with oil-rubbed bronze paint. Paint the top a light gray. Print out a number graphic on paper. Scribble all over the backside of the paper with a pencil. Place the paper right side up on the table and trace the design with a pencil. Remove the paper to see the outline on the tabletop. Fill in the graphic with a black permanent marker or paint. Lightly sand and distress the table as desired. Apply antiquing wax or sealer to protect the finish.
