REFINISH A SODA CADDY

Turn an old-school wooden caddy into a portable craft-soda holder. Clean and lightly sand the surface and then brush with bluegreen chalky-finish paint. Let dry completely. Dry brush random areas with off-white chalky-finish paint to highlight. Lightly sand the dried paint to reveal areas of the original wood finish underneath. Seal with clear wax or matte-finish acrylic spray. Attach a vintage bottle opener, a flour bin handle turned upside down for holding bottle caps, and a pair of decorative upholstery tacks to the caddy. If necessary, dry brush or sponge the metal accessories with antique brass metallic paint before attaching.
