SHED LIGHT ON A STONEWARE PITCHER

Turn a piece from your stoneware collection into a functional lamp. Fabiana of Ciao Newport Beach had a lighting store put this one together, but it’s not a difficult DIY project with a little know-how. Choose your pitcher and carefully drill a hole through the bottom. Find a piece such as a brass chandelier plate to use as a base. Fabiana’s was the perfect size and already had a hole for accommodating a cord. Drill a hole in the back of the base for the cord to exit. Inside the pitcher, use a candle arm to hold the bulb. Then, simply clip a shade onto the bulb.
