RETASK ROLLING PINS AS BOOKENDS

-

Don’t just toss vintage rolling pins into a crock—give them a new purpose as fun bookends like these from Fabiana of Ciao Newport Beach. Carefully cut two wood rolling pins in half using a circular saw. Then cut a 7" x 9" wood plaque in half. Paint the plaque pieces with gray milkpaint and apply a finishing wax. Sand the bottoms of the halved rolling pins and glue them to the bases with construction adhesive. Once dry, slide in your favorite cookbooks!
