Grand Old Garland
Reuse stick flags from parades of the past by fashioning them into a shelf or window garland. Measure the space where you would like to hang the garland to determine garland length. Remove the staples from the flags with pliers. Place the flags on a clean work surface with their cantons facing left. Hot glue the flags to seam binding cut to fit the predetermined length. Evenly space the flags along the binding and glue in place. Hang using pushpins.
