Cookie-Cutter Decor

Gather your children or grandkids around the kitchen table to craft an instant ornament assortment by using Christmas cookie cutters as a guide for snipping shapes from coordinating patterns of scrapbook paper. Glue glittery pipe cleaners around the cut edges and embellish the ornaments with small pinecones, allspice berries, cinnamon sticks and star anise. Punch a small hole through the top of each ornament and thread with a piece of twine for hanging. In addition to decorating a tree, these sweet and simple shapes make great garlands, gift tags or table favors.
