Susan Standeford of Shelbyville, Indiana, is the proprietor of

Sugar Creek Antiques, which sells antique and vintage goods, along with handmade and home decor items. Her own residence is also filled with charming vignettes, including this corner of her dining room, which hosts an antique door adorned with a colorful wreath and draped with vintage lace for a soft touch.

Sandra Buck, who lives just north of Phoenix, Arizona, enjoys decorating the mantel shelf that graces her living room focal wall. “My husband, Stu, made the 5-footlong shelf for me several years ago, and I love decorating it for fall (and other seasons),” she says. A large clock balances the shelf and provides a neutral backdrop for other accents, including a cute “Autumn” garland Sandra assembled from craft components such as rusty metal pumpkins, acorn bells, and paper pinwheels and lettering.

Katie Moore of Lilesville, North Carolina, loves decorating for fall, from creating a harvest-themed tree in a country crock to decking the two-tiered tray she typically keeps on her coffee bar with pumpkins, fall foliage, small signs and buffalo-check fabrics.
