My husband, Steve, is a retired Coast Guard officer and military attorney. One day in 1997, when we were stationed in Key West, I brought home a Country

Sampler magazine and our country decorating adventure began.

While traveling all over the United States, we would stop at antiques shops and thrift stores and pick out country decor that would catch our eye. We have collections of Noah’s arks, baskets and various Amish pieces. We have used your magazine for inspiration and have also purchased items from your vendors, including our dining room table and hutch and our many sets of stacked boxes.
