ENCHANTED FOREST

-

The open circle of a wreath makes an ideal spot for showcasing a special decorative item, like this vintage deer figure. The wreath’s asymmetrical design directs attention to the central figure and allows for a more airy look. Start with a traditional grapevine wreath and add a variety of evergreen and berry picks. Combine different textures, such as spruce, cypress and cedar, for a more lavish look. Create a large bow from wired ribbon and arrange it along the side of the wreath, spreading out the ribbon tails in a balanced fashion. Wrap the decorated wreath with battery-powered fairy lights for added twinkle. Tuck your deer or other figure inside the wreath after it is in place on the wall. To give your wreath more prominence, display it on a panel of painted pallet wood and frame it with overlapping lengths of green burlap ribbon.
