Beverly Mills from Huntington, West Virginia, says she gets great ideas from Country

Sampler. “During this pandemic, I spend quality time enjoying every page. I frequent thrift stores and shop from the sites featured in Country Sampler.” Of the beautiful pieces she shared, she says, “I love any scratch and dent aisle and enjoy adding a little love to damaged items. The wooden high chair belonged to a best friend’s husband, and while I couldn’t believe she didn’t want it, I was very happy to give it a loving home. I cherish family pieces and fill my cupboards with them.”

Ashley Stamnes lives in a unique home that needed some TLC.

“Our home was ‘built’ about 70 years ago by putting two grain bins together,” she reveals. “When we moved in 16 years ago, it had not been lived in for 20 years, so it required a lot of work and love!” Ashley says she gathers inspiration from the pages of Country Sampler for her decorating endeavors: “It has been an adventure building on and having the opportunity to display so many of the antiques my mom and dad spent time acquiring. Decorating my home for each season is a passion of mine. Although autumn is my favorite time to decorate, there is something wonderful about each of the seasons!”
