The old green shutter was discovered on one of my trips to Amish Country, Lancaster, Pennsylvania. My husband worked at a recycling company and he brought a metal object home. I painted it a bright yellow, and after looking at it for a while, I realized it could be a sweet angel face. After I painted the face, I thought the angel would be adorable on the green shutter, which was just sitting in my garden shed until I found something that would make it stand out. My husband then made the wings and the rest is history. It stands on my porch greeting visitors at my front door. Mary Cox Upper Marlboro, Maryland
