APRIL SHOWERS & MAY FLOWERS

-

Creating intricate designs on an egg’s round surface can be quite tricky, but René made the task a cinch by using portions of book pages and pretty floral-motif napkins to make one-of-a-kind decorations. For your project, select larger plastic eggs and decoupage strips of old book pages onto the surfaces. When dry, cut out flowers from paper napkins and glue one atop the book-page strips on each egg. Once the flower details are dry, coat the eggs with decoupage medium to seal in the designs and preserve them from wear and tear. For her display,

René nestled one egg in a petite nest and set two eggs in smaller nests atop wire insulators bound together with pastel ribbons.
