Make the most of an upstairs space to create a cozy bedroom nook. Lori incorporates the sloping roofline and dormer window into the design of this welcoming guest room. Along the short wall, she displays a couple of globes and a low table lamp. An oval mirror turned horizontally reflects light and brightens the room. A trio of prints hung vertically and balanced with a single piece of similarly sized art enhances the height of the angular wall.

The Craigs built a striking one-ofa-kind headboard for their master bedroom by alternating three louvered doors and two boards, and then whitewashing the entire structure. Industrial sconces are wired through the slats. A garland created from vintage-look calendar pages clipped to a chain complements the adjacent bird prints. Lori dresses the bed for sweet dreams with ruffled floral linens and a crocheted tablecloth for a coverlet.
