Kimberly’s beloved blue kitchen table was snagged in a farm stand/junkyard “covered in crud.” Paired with red chairs, it offers a bright spot, as well as convenient seating, in the kitchen. That red/blue color combination echoes throughout the home, creating a subtle visual flow between rooms. Vintage advertising signs and an old thermometer bring a nostalgic vibe to the space.

The Kaufmans’ cozy kitchen shows the range of Kimberly’s “hunting” skills—while she spent just $20 for the blue table, she admits she paid a premium for the blue wooden bowl on the counter with its original cerulean hue. “Both have gotten more love on social media than practically anything in the house,” she says.
