Think beyond a furnishing’s original purpose to give it a new lease on life. In the pantry, Cindy converted a primitiveinspired dresser into a convenient island buffet. She attached a reclaimed tabletop to the dresser’s top to expand the workspace. Other cabinets feature large cubbies that are perfect for displaying oversize canisters, stockpots and other items that don’t easily fit in a standard cabinet.
