My husband, Kevin, and I are both huge fans of Country Sampler.

We have decorated our home with primitives and antique treasures. Like the mailman, no weather—be it rain, sleet or snow—will stop us from going to auctions and flea markets to do a little shopping. We always find something. Kevin teases we built a new home to make it look 150 years old. That’s no lie. I’m sharing a photo of a little gem I bought at an antiques store in Mount Victory, Ohio. This is my favorite piece. It came out of a barn in Georgia, and it wasn’t even in the shop for an hour before I saw it and told my husband, “This has got to come home with us.” He agreed. I keep all my issues to give me decorating ideas when I need to change things up and to give me a heads-up as to what others are collecting and using to decorate. I’m now interested in collecting brick molds.
