Warm against White

Highlight a special collection of crockery similar to Gary’s yellowware by grouping it within an open-front cabinet or shelving unit. Paint or distress the cabinet if you like, but leave the interior natural or a light hue so your treasures will stand out. Build height—and interesting shapes—by stacking bowls bottom to bottom. Place oversize pieces on top, and fill in the crannies with culinary-related artifacts, basketry or seasonal decor.
