Convert an antique dresser into a vanity, like Neil did for this master bathroom furnishing. Cut out the back of the drawers to make room for the plumbing, and install a vessel sink and faucet on top. Go for a vintage look overhead with a premade Edison-style vanity light, or take a cue from Karen, who made this fixture from recycled wood.

Set a freestanding storage piece in front of an unused door to take advantage of the leftover space.
