Yvonne chose a handpainted box and a yellow enamelware pitcher. Fill out the scene with harmonious accents, such as decorative fabric corn, burlap sunflowers and a chalkboard sign with a handwritten greeting.

“I love displaying country knickknacks on my counters and swapping them out for the seasons,”Yvonne says. Her kitchen lacks upper cabinet area to decorate, so she arranges her small seasonal accents in several tight groupings. The blue dry sink—discovered by Ross Jr. on the side of the road and rescued for his mother— lends a bright pop of color to the room.
