EXTRA-SPECIAL EGGS

DRESS UP THESE PLASTIC EASTER BASKET STAPLES WITH A CLOAK OF TWINE.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

5 plastic 2-piece eggs

100 ft. of 2 mm jute twine Ribbon or lace

Decorative embellishments,

such as buttons or beads Hot glue gun

DIRECTIONS

1. Separate the eggs into 2 pieces. Beginning at the open end of one half, adhere one end of the twine with hot glue. 2. Coil the twine around an egg half, adhering with dabs of glue as needed. Continue to the top of the half and cut the twine to fit. Secure with hot glue. Repeat the process with the other egg half. 3.

Cut lengths of ribbon or lace to decorate the middle of the eggs. Adhere to only one half of each egg with glue so the eggs can be opened to fill with treats. 4.

Repeat process with the other 4 eggs.
