Turkey in the Straw

Pair a stuffed toy with a tube pan to make a warm holiday welcome.

Place tube pan on foam core board and trace its outline with a pencil. Using a small utility knife, cut pan shape from board. Hot-glue foam to open side of pan, creating a back. Hot-glue ornamental grasses and faux feathers to foam, spacing them out and alternating textures to create the turkey feathers. Glue a stuffed turkey into the pan’s center void to create its body, taking the toy apart if desired for fit. Attach a nail or hook to pan’s center opening to hang.
