Tree Ornaments

Make lasting memories of friends and family by turning their cards into a creative tree ornament. Using a 2½-in. circular craft punch, cut 20 circles from holiday cards. Draw a triangle template on card stock

that fits within each circle. Trace the triangle on the back of each circle and fold each side outward along the triangle line. Line up five folded circles with triangle shapes facing the same direction and glue the bent sides together in a row with a craft glue stick. Repeat with another five circles. This creates the top and bottom of the ball. To create the middle, line up remaining 10 circles and alternate the triangle direction—one point up, one point down, etc. Glue together. Cut a 24-in. piece of decorative twine.

Fold twine in half and string a decorative bead on it. Wrap the top, middle and bottom part of the ball around twine and glue each closed, leaving a length of twine hanging from the bottom of the ball. Glue each row together to secure the ball. Tie a knot in the bottom of the twine.
