A Country Paradise
Their new home on passed-down land features special touches.
Our home is located right in the heart of Randolph County, North Carolina. I grew up on this land and was fortunate enough to inherit 3 acres of it to build on. I now live here with my family. I like to say there are 10 of us: me; my husband; our sons, Abram and Levi; our two dogs, Cotton and Shep; Hamilton the pig; and three chickens, Henny, Penny and CoCo.
We live in a modern-style farmhouse, with more traditional accents tucked throughout. We love spending time as a family in our open living room and out on the porch. Our view is breathtaking and reminds me of the rich family heritage this land holds. When I look out my front door every morning, it’s a dream. It’s my home. I thank my lucky stars every day.
