Natural Chimneys Park
Located in Mount Solon,
Virginia, the park is built around these amazing stone towers formed when the Shenandoah Valley was covered by an inland sea. In the 19th century these rock formations were known as the Cyclopean Towers. Today’s visitors can camp, swim, hike and fish here. I could spend all summer in this peaceful, simple park.
PLAN AHEAD
The park is open for day use and there will be restricted camping during the 2021 season. Campsites are spacious and the atmosphere is friendly and familyoriented. Site reservations are first ome, first served.
ATTEND THE JOUST
Natural Chimneys is home to the National Jousting Hall of Fame. Two jousting tournaments are hosted there each year in June and August. Cheer on the riders as they spear rings. nationaljousting.com
