Feeders behind the Trading Post, stocked by rangers with thistle and sunflower seeds, attract the blackcrest­ed titmice, pine siskins, American goldfinche­s, various thrashers, whitecrown­ed sparrows and more. Visitors watch the action from a blind. Check the park website’s list of birds common and rare in the canyon.

TEXAS OUTDOOR MUSICAL

Performed in the Pioneer Amphitheat­er for more than 50 years, the family-friendly summer musical extravagan­za tells the stories and struggles of Texas Panhandle 0"11)"/0 &+ 1%" ģĪĢĢ0Ǒ with singing, dancing and “Texas humor.”

The show ends with an enormous display of fireworks, seen (and heard) from the Glampsites.
