PARK HIGHLIGHTS
FOR THE BIRDS
Feeders behind the Trading Post, stocked by rangers with thistle and sunflower seeds, attract the blackcrested titmice, pine siskins, American goldfinches, various thrashers, whitecrowned sparrows and more. Visitors watch the action from a blind. Check the park website’s list of birds common and rare in the canyon.
TEXAS OUTDOOR MUSICAL
Performed in the Pioneer Amphitheater for more than 50 years, the family-friendly summer musical extravaganza tells the stories and struggles of Texas Panhandle 0"11)"/0 &+ 1%" ģĪĢĢ0Ǒ with singing, dancing and “Texas humor.”
The show ends with an enormous display of fireworks, seen (and heard) from the Glampsites.
