While traveling through Texas, we discovered the Fort Griffin State Historic Site in Albany, texas it was once home to more than 465 soldiers, officers, their families and other civilians. At its peak there where more than 60 buildings on the site and only six were completely constructed out of stone. My favorite was this one, Sutler’s Store.
