Cat Wolinski is a Brooklyn-based freelance journalist and beer writer. Kate Bernot is the staff writer at The Takeout, where she covers food, beer, booze, and other delicious topics. She was previously the beer editor at DRAFT Magazine and is a certified beer judge. She lives in Missoula, Montana, with a black lab and five backyard chickens.

John M. Verive is a freelance writer dedicated to growing the craft-beer scene in L.A. He’s the founder of Beer of Tomorrow (Beerof Tomorrow.com) and the former editor of Beer Paper LA (a monthly print newspaper). He covers the beer beat for the Los Angeles Times and is a Certified Cicerone.
