I-Cord: *Slide sts to other end of needle, pull yarn across back, k6, do not turn; rep from * until cord is desired length. Bind off loosely. I-Cord Knot: Make I-Cord longer than needed. Using extra length shape as desired. Unravel any “excess” length, bind-off at exact needed length and secure in place.

Tie I-Cord into a knot, unraveling any excess length; firmly secure to top of hat.
