Pat­tern Notes

Pullover is worked in pieces and then sewn to­gether. The mesh pat­tern at the side edges of the front and back

shifts 1 stitch to­ward the arm­hole edge with each suc­ceed­ing right-side row. The leaf mo­tifs on the front yoke shift 1 stitch to­ward the arm­hole with each suc­ceed­ing right-side row while the cen­ter yoke mesh sec­tion is also in­creas­ing by 2 stitches.

When work­ing front neck shap­ing, do not work a yarn over with­out its cor­re­spond­ing de­crease and vice versa; work ex­tra stitch in stock­inette stitch.

Block pieces to fin­ished mea­sure­ments. Sew shoul­der seams. Pm 61/4 (61/2, 7, 71/4, 73/4) inches down from shoul­ders on front and back. Sew on sleeves be­tween mark­ers. Sew sleeve seams. Sew side seams, beg at top of ribbed bor­der, leav­ing ribbed bor­ders un­sewn.

Neck­band With RS fac­ing, us­ing smaller cir­cu­lar nee­dle and beg at right shoul­der seam, pick up and knit 88 (94, 100, 106, 112) sts evenly around neck; pm for beg of rnd and join. Rnd 1: *K1, p1; rep from * to end. Work even un­til band mea­sures 3/4 inch. Bind off all sts in pat. Weave in ends.
