Ba­sic lace stitches cre­ate an airy fab­ric, which is so prac­ti­cal dur­ing the tran­si­tional months of the year. The al­paca and silk pro­vide an en­joy­able tac­tile ex­pe­ri­ence as the yarn glides ef­fort­lessly through your fin­gers.

Gauge

24 sts and 40 rows/rnds = 4 inches/ 10cm in garter st with larger nee­dles (blocked). To save time, take time to check gauge.

on 57 sts. Knit 4 rows. Set-up row (RS): K4, work Row 1 of

Lace Panel, k4. Keep­ing first 4 and last 4 sts of each row in garter st, con­tinue to work Lace Panel un­til scarf mea­sures 581/2 inches, end­ing with Row 4. Knit 4 rows. Loosely bind off all sts.

Fin­ish­ing

Block to mea­sure­ments. Weave in all ends.
