Each of the designs has elements that will make it interesting to knit and fun to wear. But never fear, the easy-to-read text and charts are what you’ve come to expect from Interweave.
By Margaret Hubert (Quarry Books, 256 pages, $27.99) It’s not news that knitters don’t like to seam garments. That’s where one-piece knitting comes in. Having zero seams to sew all of a sudden makes the knitting of a sweater much more appealing. In One-Piece Knits, designer Margaret Hubert provides us with multiple options for construction, with design variations for each. Categories include top-down raglan sweaters, top-down yoke sweaters, side-over sweaters and back-to-front sweaters. Even better, she offers instructions for a range of sizes in each style: child’s sizes 2–16, woman’s XS–5X, and man’s S–2X, along with size guidelines and how to measure to fit.
One-Piece Knits is a one-stop resource for knitting designs for the whole family.
