171/2 sts and 24 rnds/rows = 4 inches/10cm in St st (blocked). To save time, take time to check gauge.

Pat­tern Note

Tee is worked in 1 piece to the un­der­arms, then front and back are worked sep­a­rately to the shoul­ders. Sleeves are picked up from arm­hole edges and worked down.

Tee

Cast on 182 (200, 218, 236, 254, 272, 290) sts; pm for beg of rnd and join, be­ing care­ful not to twist sts. Rnd 1: K91 (100, 109, 118, 127, 136, 145) sts; pm for side, knit to end of rnd. Rnd 2: Purl. Rnds 3–6: Rep [Rnds 1 and 2] twice.

Knit ev­ery rnd un­til piece mea­sures 11 (11, 11, 101/2, 10, 10, 10) inches. Divi­sion row: Knit to first marker; place rem sts on holder for back. Front Con­tin­u­ing in St st, work even un­til piece mea­sures 6 (61/2, 7, 71/2, 8, 81/2, 9) inches from Divi­sion row, end­ing with a WS row. Shape Neck & Shoul­der Next row (RS): K44 (49, 53, 56, 61, 65, 69) sts, place rem 47 (51, 56, 62, 66, 71, 76) sts on holder. Purl 1 rnd. Dec rnd 2: K1, k2­tog around—48 (52, 56, 60, 64, 68, 72) sts. Next rnd: Purl. Next rnd: Knit. Rep [last 2 rnds] twice. Purl 1 rnd. Loosely bind off pwise.
