FRINGE

Cut 168 12-inch lengths of yarn, representing yarn colors equally. Arrange pieces in pairs to create balanced color distribution. For each Fringe, hold 2 lengths tog and fold in half. Insert hook from RS in dc at short end of Shawl, pull folded end through, pull ends through fold, pull ends to tighten knot. Work Fringe in each dc across each short end. Trim ends evenly to desired length.
