• Ber­roco Vin­tage Chunky bulky (chunky) weight acrylic/wool/ny­lon yarn (31/2 oz/136 yds/100g per hank): 1 hank ei­ther #6167 dew­berry (shown in adult small/ medium) or #6193 Yukon

green (shown in adult large) • Size N/13/9mm cro­chet hook or size needed to ob­tain gauge • Ta­pes­try nee­dle • Stitch marker

Hat is worked in con­tin­u­ous rounds un­less oth­er­wise noted. Use stitch marker to mark first stitch in round and move marker up as you work each round. Join with slip stitch as in­di­cated un­less oth­er­wise stated.


Her­ring­bone half dou­ble cro­chet (hhdc): Yo, insert hook in in­di­cated st, yo, pull through st and through first lp on hook, yo, pull through both lps on hook.
