Using a book or other firm board that is at least 81/2 inches wide, wrap yarn around evenly 40 times to form tassel. Carefully slide off board, run 12-inch piece of yarn through center of wound yarn and tie tightly to secure. Take another 10-inch piece of yarn and tie around about 1 inch below first tie on top.

**Carefully wrap extra yarn around a couple of times. Using a yarn needle, secure extra rem yarn of this tie by pushing needle into center right below where yarn was wound. Rep from ** for other strand of tie. Trim yarn evenly at bottom of tassel. Attach to each corner of throw by tying securely to each corner and then hiding the extra strands using the yarn needle.
