POT HOLDER FRONT

Rnd 1: Following Chart for color changes, ch 3 (see Pattern Notes), dc in ring, [ch 2, 3 dc in ring] 3 times, ch 2, dc in ring. Join in top of beg ch-3. (12 dc, 4 ch-2 sps)

Rnds 2–5: Ch 3, dc in each dc around, working (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in each ch-2 sp. Join in top of beg ch-3. (76 dc, 4 ch-2 sps at end of last rnd) Fasten off.

BACK

With first color, ch 4, join in first ch to form a ring.

Rnd 1: Ch 3, dc in ring, [ch 2, 3 dc in ring] 3 times, ch 2, dc in ring. Join in top of beg ch-3, turn. (12 dc, 4 ch-2 sps)

Rnds 2–5: Ch 3, dc in each dc around, working (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in each ch-2 sp. Join in top of beg ch-3. (76 dc, 4 ch-2 sps at end of last rnd) Do not fasten off.

ASSEMBLY

Match WS tog of Front and Back Squares.

Rnd 1: Continuing with first color, ch 1 (counts as first sc), working through both thicknesses, sc in each of next 9 sc, 4 sc in next ch-2 sp, sc in next 19 sts, 2 sc in next ch-2 sp, ch 10

(lp made), 2 sc in same ch-2 sp, [sc in next 19 sts, 4 sc in next ch-2 sp] twice, sc in each of next 9 sc. Join in first ch. Fasten off. (92 sc) Rnd 2: With RS of Front facing, surface sl st (see Special Stitch) around, inserting hook in sp between sts. At lp corner, work 10 sc in lp. Continue working surface sl st to end of rnd. Join in first st. Fasten off. Weave in ends.
