PAT­TERN NOTES

This pullover is worked in pieces and seamed. When shap­ing Neck and Sleeves, main­tain stitches in Nubby Pat­tern. Al­ways work a slip stitch into a half dou­ble cro­chet and work a half dou­ble cro­chet into a slip stitch. Join with slip stitch as in­di­cated un­less oth­er­wise stated.

SPE­CIAL STITCH

Ap­plied Cro­chet Lines: Hold­ing yarn be­neath work, in­sert hook through first st in­di­cated from RS to WS and pull up a lp, * in­sert hook through next st in­di­cated and pull up a lp (2 lps on hook), pull most re­cently pulled through lp through other lp (sl st made), rep from *. Af­ter last sl st is made, cut yarn and pull through last sl st. Take yarn end to the WS of work and weave in. Note: When work­ing ap­plied cro­chet lines, be sure not to pull sl sts too tightly. Aim to keep a ten­sion that is con­sis­tent with the base fab­ric.
